mantis sculpt

sculpt done to complete module01 of a ZBrush master class. further refined my control of the standard/clay/clay buildup/trim dynamic/trim adaptive/hPolish brush workflow (not really finding the need for the trim adaptive brush yet tho')<---boy, was i wrong!? 1yr later and i couldn't get along without it!

the goal was to fit a "super model" type into close-to-ideal-proportions. i picked emma stone. :P

top: first human head, since last year, i've had a chance to sculpt. the most recent review of anatomy seem to be paying off tho'. also started testing out ryan kingslien's standard/clay/clay buildup/trim dynamic/trim adaptive/hPolish brush workflow for sculpting. kinda digging it!

bottom: wanted to further explore a not-every-character-in-cg-needs-to-be-overly-caucasian concept, as well as adding some smaller "story" details, for a hero-female head.
